Frequently Asked Questions – Madero Therapy

It could be that you have some questions before booking your treatment at Skinsideout. No worries! We have listed a few frequently asked questions. If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

What is Madero Therapy?

Madero Therapy at Skinsideout is a anti cellulite, connective tissue (bindweefsel) technique that helps fight fat, flued and cellulite. The purposely shaped wooden elements sculpt the body in desired areas. allowing the therapist to move and drain accumulated adipose tissue. This technique is a superior alternative to regular massage for individuals with disproportionate, localized pockets of stubborn fat and cellulite. Maderotherapy balances energy and reduces muscle tension and is also used aesthetically to firm and contour the body, reduce wrinkles, eliminate localised fat and fight cellulite. Madero therapy can be applied to the whole body for different purposes, but is mainly used on abdomen, arms, legs and buttocks to assist in cellulite removal.  We also offer Facial Madero Therapy, which is a completely natural way to contour the face, reduce double chin, diminish wrinkles, and to tone the skin of the face and neck. The secret lies in the specially designed wooden tools that stimulate the production of elastin and collagen, improve blood circulation and reduce unwanted fat tissue. This leads to a rejuvenated and firmer skin.

What are the benefits of Madero Therapy?

Maderotherapy balances energy and reduces stress, but the use of this therapy has spread for aesthetic purposes too, since it can be used to firm and contour the body, reduce wrinkles, as well as to eliminate localized fat and fight cellulite.

How many treatments do I need?

Every body is different. Some bodies react fast to the treatments, others need a little more time. We mostly start seeing promising results after 6 treatments, with 7-10 days rest time in between. After that we can decide to add on a few more treatments or to have a monthly retaining treatment.

What are the possible side effects after a treatment of Madero Therapy?

You could feel a bit low or grumpy after the treatment. It costs your body some time and energy to eliminate all toxins and fluids, and that could make you a bit fuzzy. Next to that, it might be that small bruises appear or you feel that seems to be extra fluid in the treated areas. No worries at all, after a few days that will all disappear.

I would love to book 6 treatments at once, could I book a package deal?
