My name is Carina. I was born in Amsterdam, and throughout my life I’ve traveled widely and lived in many different countries. These journeys shaped me, opened my heart, and deepened my understanding of the human experience.
I practice a variety of therapies and founded my business, Skinsideout, 10 years ago. The name truly says it all – my work goes far beyond the surface. As someone who has lived through and healed from different traumatic experiences, the inner world of the body became a profound point of fascination for me. I began my path 24 years ago as a massage and beauty therapist, and over time my work naturally evolved into a more holistic, intuitive way of healing.
I believe the inside of the body holds our deepest wisdom – and, in many cases, the root of our healing. Over the years, I have deepened my practice by becoming a Reiki Master and a breathwork coach. Through breathwork, I’ve witnessed how powerful and transformative bodywork can be. It gently brings up what the body is ready to release, while guiding us back to our true selves. Reiki brings a different kind of magic — soft, gentle, and deeply healing. It moves in mysterious ways and often reveals more than we expect.
In my practice, I love exploring together with you what treatment or combination of treatments will serve you best. For deeper healing, I am here to support you, to hold space, and to help you reconnect with the most authentic part of yourself.
